In their latest anonymous survey, the group gathered their data from a poll of 85 whose average age was 26. Although a smaller sample, the study consistently revealed alarming responses.
According to the investigation, 54.7% of models enter the field between the ages of 13 and 16, a concerning reality given this age group’s high susceptibility to peer pressure. To make matters worse, over half of the participants had been exposed to cocaine, while 76.5% of the respondents confirmed their proximity to other unnamed drugs and/or alcohol.
The Model Alliance is trying to undo the effects of these startling statistics. Although this vocation may cater to a younger age group, the association wants to provide a reliable support system for the unjustly violated. The Model Alliance Support is a part of this objective and is a medium through which confidential abuse claims may be made.
With an array of disconcerting findings, the Model Alliance will certainly be gaining some new advocates.

Dee Josephine Photo Hollywood. AwesomenessTV, the YouTube multichannel network acquired by Dreamworks Animation last month, has bowed AwesomenessX, a new channel aimed at male teens and tweens.
New channel will be stocked with seven new original series, while five existing AwesomenessTV shows will migrate over.
“The explosive growth enjoyed by AwesomenessTV has given us the ability to segment our audience so we can better target the programming and build communities around specific interest areas,” AwesomenessTV founder and CEO Brian Robbins said.
While it’s targeted at young males, AwesomessX “will attract some girls as well,” he added.
DreamWorks Animation bought the teen-skewing online network for $33 million, but the pact could be worth as much as $117 million if AwesomenessTV hits earnings and performance targets in 2014 and 2015.
Series making the transition from AwesomenessTV to the new channel include “The City – Basketball,” “Sk8 Spotterz,” “Blow Up Guys,” “That Was Awesome” and “How To Be Awesome.”
New series launches include: docuseries ”David Wise,” which follows Winter X-Games skier David Wise and “Skate City China,” about Chinese skateboarders; ”ATV Gamer Mash-up” from the unit’s ATV Network; ”Hot Models” (self explanatory); “The Frank Dog” featuring a talking dog; “Baby Gaga” with baby videos from around the Web; and “Fingerlings,” a take on pop culture moments using finger-puppet re-enactments.
Awesomeness TV has served more than 100 million views on YouTube since launching last May. The flagship channel features scripted and reality series geared toward teen auds, while its ATVNetwork is a community-based multichannel network focused developing “the next generation of YouTube stars.”
